Free tools
Small things we built because we kept needing them. All of them run entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded, there is no account to make, and there is no watermark on what comes out.
Money & business
Invoices, instalments and what you actually owe.
For freelancers & small businesses
Invoice generator
A professional PKR invoice, saved as a PDF. NTN and STRN fields, your logo, eight currencies, and the amount written out in lakhs and crores.
- Built for Pakistan
- Your logo
- Nothing is uploaded
Faith & finance
Zakat calculator
Your zakat in rupees, with both the gold and silver nisab shown side by side — which one you use changes whether anything is due at all. Every step of the sum is visible.
- Both nisab measures
- Shows the working
- Nothing is uploaded
Any currency
Loan & EMI calculator
The monthly payment, plus the two things other calculators leave out: where the money goes year by year, and what an extra payment a month actually saves you.
- Amortisation schedule
- Extra-payment saving
- Nothing is uploaded
Finance
Car & home finance
Conventional instalments, Ijarah and Diminishing Musharakah worked out as they actually are — not one EMI printed under three headings, which is what every other calculator does.
- Three structures
- Islamic done properly
- Total cost shown
Study & career
Grades, applications and the things you send to strangers.
Students
GPA & CGPA calculator
Semester GPA and cumulative CGPA on whichever scale your university actually uses. The grade mapping is printed so you can check it against your transcript.
- Three scales
- CGPA included
- Nothing is uploaded
Students & office
Typing speed test
Gross and net words per minute side by side, with the formula for each named — which is why your score here may not match another site's. No account, nothing stored.
- Both formulas
- 15/30/60 seconds
- No sign-up
For job applications
Resume & CV maker
A clean resume or CV — the same document under two names — with a live preview and a page counter. Single-column on purpose, because that is the layout an applicant tracking system can actually read.
- ATS-friendly
- Page counter
- Nothing is uploaded
Writing & text
Counting it, timing it, and getting the capitals right.
Twelve cases
Text case converter
Title case in both Chicago and AP style — because the two genuinely disagree — plus sentence case, and every programmer case. Acronyms like NASA and iPhone survive.
- Two title styles
- Keeps acronyms
- Nothing is uploaded
Writers & students
Word counter
Words, characters, sentences, reading time and keyword frequency. Counts Urdu and Arabic script properly, and does not upload what you paste — which most counters do.
- Urdu supported
- Nothing uploaded
- Keyword frequency
Numbers & units
The sums people arrive already halfway through.
Everyday maths
Percentage calculator
Five questions written as plain sentences — percentage of a number, percentage change, adding or taking off a percentage, and the reverse percentage people get wrong on invoices. Shows its working.
- Shows the working
- Reverse percentages
- Instant
Students & engineers
Scientific calculator
Type the whole expression — brackets, trigonometry, logs, powers, factorials. Built on a real parser rather than eval, which is what almost every other browser calculator uses.
- Full expressions
- No eval
- Degrees or radians
Everyday
Unit converter
Marla, kanal, murabba, gaz and tola alongside the ordinary ones — with both marla conventions, because two are in daily use and they differ by 21%.
- Local units
- Both marla
- All units at once
Everyday
Dates, clocks and the body, worked out properly.
Draws you can defend
Random picker
Giveaway winners, random numbers, a coin or dice — from the browser's cryptographic source, with the modulo bias other pickers carry measured and removed.
- No modulo bias
- Fisher-Yates shuffle
- Nothing is uploaded
And meeting planner
Time zone converter
Convert a time across as many zones as you need, then read the strip that shows which hours are inside working hours for everybody — the question you actually had.
- Meeting planner
- Daylight saving handled
- Nothing is uploaded
Including working days
Date calculator
Days between two dates with working days counted, adding and subtracting from a date, and a countdown. Month ends clamped, and a weekend you can set to Friday–Saturday.
- Working days
- Gulf weekend option
- Nothing is uploaded
Everyday
Age calculator
Exact age in years, months and days — worked out on the calendar rather than by dividing by 365 — with the Hijri date and the next birthday.
- Hijri date
- Leap years right
- Instant
Health
BMI calculator
Your BMI on both the WHO international thresholds and the Asian cut-offs, where the risk starts lower — plus your healthy weight range in kg. Most calculators show only the first.
- Both scales
- Metric & imperial
- Nothing is uploaded
Web & files
Things a browser can do without sending your file anywhere.
Business & print
QR code generator
A static QR code — the link lives in the pattern, not on somebody's redirect. Nothing expires, no scans are counted, and nobody can change where it points after you have printed it.
- Never expires
- No tracking
- PNG & SVG
Photos & files
Image compressor
Smaller images without sending them anywhere — and it strips the GPS location your camera wrote into the file. Every popular compressor uploads what you give it; this one cannot.
- Never uploaded
- Strips GPS
- 20 at once
Security
Password generator
Real cryptographic randomness with the bias most generators leave in taken out, and a strength figure in bits you can check rather than a coloured bar you have to believe.
- Not Math.random()
- Honest entropy
- Nothing stored
Developers & design
The small jobs that interrupt a build, done without a round trip.
Unicode safe
Base64 & URL encoder
Both directions, with correct UTF-8 — a plain btoa throws on Arabic and emoji and quietly returns a different string for an accent. Both fixed here.
- Urdu & emoji survive
- URL-safe alphabet
- Nothing is uploaded
Exact at any size
Number base converter
Binary, octal, decimal, hex and any base to 36 — in BigInt, so a 64-bit id converts exactly instead of quietly losing its last digit the way parseInt does.
- Past 2^53 exactly
- Shows the working
- Nothing is uploaded
With a usable error
JSON formatter
Format, minify and validate — and when it breaks, the exact line, column and caret, because browsers do not give a position for the mistakes people actually make.
- Names the mistake
- Exact line and column
- Nothing is uploaded
WCAG AA & AAA
Colour contrast checker
The ratio, the AA and AAA verdicts, HEX/RGB/HSL conversion — and the nearest shade of your own colour that passes, so a failure arrives with a fix.
- Suggests a fix
- Keeps your hue
- Nothing is uploaded
Why a studio gives tools away
Partly because they are genuinely useful, and partly because they are the most honest portfolio piece we have. Anyone can claim they build fast, accessible, well-made software. A tool you can open and use in two seconds either is those things or it is not.
They also cost us nothing to run. There is no server behind them and no database — the whole thing is the page you loaded, which is why we can leave them free with no catch and no "upgrade to remove the watermark".
What we would build next
Ideas we are weighing: a quotation builder, a print-cost estimator, a salary and tax calculator, and an electricity bill estimator. If one of those would be useful to you — or you want a feature added to one of the twenty-four that exist — tell us. That is the whole feedback process.
And if you need the real thing built
Maxverse Lab builds websites, e-commerce stores, apps and the marketing around them, from Karachi. See what we do, or read what a website actually costs in Pakistan before you talk to anyone about one.
