Web development
that earns
its keep

Most business websites lose money quietly — three seconds to load, nothing above the fold that says what you do, no obvious next step. We build the opposite: sites engineered around one measurable job, which is turning the people who already found you into enquiries.

What's included.

Build

Marketing & corporate websites

The site that has to work hardest, because it is what people check before they call you.

  • Structure planned around what buyers actually look for
  • Copy direction and hierarchy, not lorem ipsum in a template
  • Service, about, contact and location pages that rank on their own
  • Schema, sitemap, canonical tags and Search Console set up on day one

E-commerce stores

WooCommerce and Shopify builds set up to sell, not just to exist.

  • Catalogue, variants, tax and shipping configured properly
  • Local and international payment gateways
  • Checkout stripped to the fewest steps that still collect what you need
  • Core Web Vitals tuned after launch, not promised before it

Landing pages for campaigns

One page, one offer, one action — built to be measured against ad spend.

  • Single-goal layout with the form above the fold
  • Conversion tracking wired through GTM into GA4 and Ads
  • Variant-ready so headlines and offers can be tested
  • Loads fast on a phone on mobile data, which is where the clicks come from

Redesigns & migrations

Moving off a slow host, a dead page builder, or an agency that stopped replying.

  • Full content and URL audit before anything moves
  • 301 redirect map so existing rankings survive the switch
  • Rebuild on a stack you can actually maintain
  • Old site kept online until the new one is signed off

Who it's for.

Fit check

If one of these sounds like your situation, this is the right page. If none of them do, say so on the call and we will point you at what you actually need — including at nobody, if that is the honest answer.

  • You have no website yet and every enquiry currently arrives through WhatsApp
  • Your site exists but loads slowly, looks dated, and you avoid sending people to it
  • You get traffic but almost no enquiries, and nobody has ever told you why
  • You are locked into a builder or host you cannot edit, or an agency that has gone quiet

What we build on, and why

The stack

There is no single right answer — the stack follows the job, and we tell you which one we are using and why before a line of code is written.

WordPress & WooCommerce

  • When you need to edit content yourself, daily
  • Large content sites, blogs, multi-author teams
  • Stores that need plugins and local gateways

Shopify

  • Product-first businesses that want zero server admin
  • Fast route to a working, payment-ready store
  • Built-in analytics, apps and inventory

Astro & Next.js

  • When speed and search performance are the whole point
  • Marketing sites, landing pages, documentation
  • Static output on Cloudflare — nothing to patch, nothing to hack

Fully custom

  • Business logic no CMS handles cleanly
  • Dashboards, portals, internal tooling
  • Integrations with the systems you already run

How it runs.

Four steps
  1. Scope

One call, then a written scope: pages, features, stack, timeline and a fixed number. If the scope is wrong, this is where we find out — not in week four.

  2. Design

Layouts for the pages that matter, reviewed before build. Your brand, or a new one if you need it — never a stock theme with your logo dropped in.

  3. Build

Built on staging you can see, with a link you can share internally. Feedback happens against something real instead of a description.

  4. Launch

Redirects, SEO, analytics, forms and speed checked on the live domain. You get the logins, the repo, and a walkthrough of how to edit it.

FAQ

It depends on who edits it. If you or your team will change content weekly, WordPress earns its keep. If the site is mostly fixed marketing pages and speed is the priority, Astro or Next.js will be faster and cheaper to run. We recommend one and explain the trade-off in the scope — you are not paying for our preference.

Yes, completely. Domain, hosting and any repository are in your name, and you get every login at handover. There is no lock-in, and nothing stops you moving to another developer later.

We measure it. Every build is checked against PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals on mobile — the metric Google actually uses — and we tune until the numbers are right. This site is built the same way, so you can test our own work before you hire us.

Either. Most clients send raw material — service lists, old brochures, notes — and we shape it into page copy. If you would rather write it yourself, we give you the structure and word counts per section so it fits the design.

We set all three up in your name and hand over the accounts. Hosting recommendation depends on the stack; static builds usually run on Cloudflare Pages for close to nothing, WordPress needs proper managed hosting and we will tell you what it costs before you commit.
