Print that
feels as good
as it looks

Print is the one medium your client physically holds, which is exactly why cheap print does measurable damage. Colour that shifts, stock that feels thin, binding that cracks on the first open — all of it registers, even when nobody says it out loud. We produce the other kind.

Who it's for.

Fit check

If one of these sounds like your situation, this is the right page. If none of them do, say so on the call and we will point you at what you actually need — including at nobody, if that is the honest answer.

  • Your last print run came back a different colour from the proof
  • You need annual reports or a magazine done properly and on a fixed date
  • You have artwork from another designer and just need it printed correctly
  • You want design and print handled by one party who cannot pass the blame

Stocks, finishes and binding

Specification

Most print decisions are made badly because nobody explains the options. These are the choices that actually change how the finished piece feels — we will recommend a combination and price the alternatives.

Paper stock

  • Matte and gloss art paper across weights
  • Uncoated and textured stocks
  • Board for covers, boxes and folders
  • Weight recommended per piece — a brochure and a business card are not the same decision

Finishes

  • Matte and gloss lamination
  • Spot UV for selective shine
  • Foil stamping — gold, silver, custom
  • Embossing, debossing and die-cutting

Binding

  • Saddle stitch for lower page counts
  • Perfect binding for reports and books
  • Hardcover and case binding
  • Wire-O and spiral for anything that must lie flat

Colour & files

  • CMYK process, with Pantone spot colours where brand accuracy demands it
  • Print-ready file check before anything goes on press
  • Bleed, trim and imposition verified
  • Proof approved before the full run

How it runs.

Four steps
  1. Specify

What it is, how many, what date. We come back with stock, finish and binding options against a fixed price for each.

  2. Prepare

Artwork checked or created — bleed, colour mode, resolution, imposition. This is the step that prevents the expensive surprise.

  3. Proof

You approve a proof before the run. Nothing goes to press on a verbal yes.

  4. Produce & deliver

Full run, quality-checked against the approved proof, packed and delivered on the committed date.

FAQ

Yes, and it is a normal request. We run a pre-press check first — bleed, colour mode, resolution, fonts, trim — and tell you exactly what needs fixing before we quote the run. Small corrections are usually included; if the file needs rebuilding we say so rather than printing something that will disappoint you.

It depends on the process. Digital printing is economical from small quantities, which suits business cards, short-run brochures and prototypes. Offset only makes sense above a threshold but gets dramatically cheaper per piece past it. Tell us your quantity and we will quote whichever process is genuinely cheaper for it.

Straightforward digital jobs typically turn around in a few working days. Offset runs, special finishes like foiling or spot UV, and bound books need longer — the exact number is committed in the quote before you approve, because a print deadline is usually attached to an event that will not move.

Not exactly, and any printer who promises it is misleading you — screens emit light, paper reflects it. What we do is convert properly to CMYK, use Pantone spot colours where a brand colour must be exact, and get a proof in your hands before the full run so there are no surprises at delivery.

Yes — see commercial graphic designing. Doing both means the artwork is built for the press and finish it is actually going on, which is where most print problems start.
