The short version

The free tools run entirely in your browser. What you type into the CV maker, the invoice generator, the password generator or any of the others is never sent to us — there is no upload, and no server of ours ever sees it. If you send us an enquiry, from the contact form, the free website check or the chat, it is emailed to us and saved as a record in a database we run on Cloudflare. What you type into the chat is sent to an AI model on Cloudflare so it can answer. The free website check sends the address you give it to Google PageSpeed Insights. We use Google Analytics to count visits. That is the whole of it, and the detail below only explains it.

What the tools do with what you type

Nothing leaves your device. The calculators, generators and converters are JavaScript running on the page you already loaded; they make no network request carrying your input. You can verify this yourself — open your browser's developer tools, go to the Network tab, and use any tool on this site. There is nothing to see, which is the point.

Two of them save a draft so your work survives a refresh: the CV maker and the invoice generator keep it in your browser's own localStorage. That storage belongs to your browser on your device. It is not synced, not readable by us, and clearing your browser data removes it. The password generator deliberately stores nothing at all.

The free website check is the exception, and it is not one of the tools above: it sends the web address you enter to Google PageSpeed Insights, which loads that page and scores it. We keep nothing from a check unless you then send us the results with your name and email, which makes it an enquiry.

When you send us an enquiry

The contact form asks for your name, email and message, and lets you add a phone or WhatsApp number, the service you want, your US state, a budget and a timeline. The free website check's form sends your name, your email, the address you checked and its results. The chat's "Start a project" form sends your name, your email and a note about the project.

Each one also carries details you did not type: the page you sent it from, the country and city Cloudflare associates with your connection, and, from your own browser, the page you first landed on, the site that sent you there, your time zone and any campaign tags in that first link. Your browser keeps those last four in its localStorage so they can go with the form.

Sending it does three things. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the request is not a bot, which means Cloudflare sees your IP address and some details of your browser. Your name, email, phone, service, message, the page you sent it from, and the country and city are saved as a row in a Cloudflare D1 database, which only the studio can open, behind a password. Your IP address is not saved with it. Then everything you sent is passed to Resend, which delivers it to our inbox as an email and sends you a short note that it arrived.

Nothing deletes an enquiry automatically. The database row and the email stay until we remove them. There is no retention period built into the site, and we would rather say so than print one it does not keep. Write to sales@maxverselab.com and we will delete both.

The chat assistant

The chat button on every page opens an assistant that answers from what this site publishes. Your questions, with the earlier turns of the same chat, are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs the model that writes the answer. We do not save the conversation: the server keeps no copy, and the chat lives only in the open page, so it is gone when you close or reload it. To stop one visitor flooding it, the server counts questions per IP address in its working memory; that count is never written to storage. The free website check is limited the same way. Please do not type anything into a chat question that you would not want an AI service to process.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see which pages people reach and roughly where they come from. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address, device and browser details, and the pages visited. Its cookies stay off until you press Accept on the cookie banner; Reject keeps them off, and your browser remembers the choice in its localStorage. When you send a form or tap a phone, WhatsApp or email link, the page also passes Analytics an event saying so, with your country and the first-visit details described above — never your name, email or message. We use it to decide what to build and what to write; we do not use it to identify individuals, and we could not if we wanted to.

Cloudflare, which serves this site, also processes request data — IP address, user agent, timing — as part of delivering pages and blocking attacks. That processing happens whether or not you interact with anything.

Advertising

This site does not currently show ads. When that changes, the following will apply and this sentence will be removed. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

Ads are never placed inside a tool's working area, and nothing you type into a tool is used for advertising — it cannot be, because it never leaves your browser.

If you are in the UK or the EU

You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to it being processed. In practice the answer is usually that we hold an enquiry you sent us, as an email and as a database row, and nothing else. Write to sales@maxverselab.com and we will answer.

Who else receives data

Google — Analytics and Tag Manager on every page, and PageSpeed Insights for the address you give the free website check.
Cloudflare — hosting, the Turnstile anti-bot check on the forms, the D1 database that stores enquiries, Workers AI for the chat assistant, and edge analytics.
Resend — delivers enquiries to us as email and sends you the note that yours arrived. It sees what you typed into the form.

That is the complete list. We do not sell data, we do not run remarketing pixels, and there is no advertising network on this site beyond what is named above.

Cookies

The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and from Cloudflare's own security and performance services. We set none of our own. Your browser can block or clear all of them, and the tools will keep working — none of them needs a cookie to run.

Changes

If what the site does changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. It is dated rather than versioned so you can tell at a glance whether it has kept up.
